I’m Melissa Wilhelm, (better known as – Mel). I’m a pre-certified Health Coach receiving my certificate in Integrated Health and Nutrition from The Institute for Integrated Health and Nutrition. Like many of you, I’m an over-achiever, and with that comes an immense amount of stress, that up until recently I allowed to get the better of me.

Over the past year, I’ve read, researched, studied and experimented with all things “stress”. And from this I’ve created The Tulia Apothecary. Tulia means “calm” in Swahili. The “swirl” is meant to represent an exhalation, a deep breath that releases all of our pent-up worries, anxieties, sadness, anger and tension – making room for peace, love and happiness.

For now it will be a blog dedicated to sharing everything I’ve learned, and will continue to learn, when it comes to “stressing less” – a collection of tips, tricks and stories for eating, resting, working, playing, exercising, socializing, and just simply being.  Over the course of the next year, as I fulfill my requirements towards receiving my certificate in Integrated Health and Nutrition and become a certified Health Coach, you will see it evolve into a full-service practice combining stress coaching with nutrition and exercise products and services, all specifically designed for the achievement-oriented seeking a sense of calm and wellbeing in our crazy, over-demanding modern world.

I hope you’ll sign up and visit often. And I would love it if you’d share your stressed-out stories and stress-less tips. Hopefully together we can all… find our calm.

Peace, Love & Happiness, Mel
